Carolyn Fay Morris

Carolyn Fay Morris, age 72, of Sheridan, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant, Arkansas. She was born October 23, 1937 in Sheridan, a daughter of the late Harvey and Lottie Crutchfield Hunter. In 1990 she married Lonnie Morris in Sheridan. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and a member of Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Pinson, and Geneva Childers; three brothers, Harvey Jr. infant, Havis and Raymond Hunter.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Morris of the home; three children, Vicky Hyatt and her husband Alan, of North Little Rock, Don Raney of East End, Dena Reed and her husband Tony, of East End; three grandchildren, Melissa Young, Thomas Jones, Casey Reed; three great grandchildren, Ethan and Devan Young, Laila Jones; two brothers, W.C. Hunter of Bauxite, Lonnie Hunter of East End; one sister, Viva Sowell of Little Rock; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Buie Funeral Chapel with Brother Ron Meredith and Brother Eugene Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in East End. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the funeral home. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Saline Memorial Hospice for their care and compassion.
