Carl Bailey
December 25, 1935 — January 30, 2017
Carl Bailey, 81, of Searcy, formerly of Cherokee Village, passed away January 30, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born December 25, 1935 in Kentucky to the late Shelby and Viola Sheppard Bailey.
He retired from building semi-trucks at International Harvester in 1991 and enjoyed breaking and working with horses. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles as well.
He married Mary Jones Bailey December 6, 1980 at Fort Wayne, Indiana; she survives. He is also survived by a step son, Jerome Caldwell (Kandy); step grandchildren, Carlee, Christopher, Mary, and Jered all of Searcy; one brother, Donnie Bailey; and three sisters, Clarice, Salma, and Lena.
After cremation, no services are scheduled.
