Brenda Smith

Brenda Smith, a cherished resident of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on June 18, 1968, in Searcy, Brenda devoted her life to serving her community as a dedicated school janitor, known for her unwavering work ethic and her kindness to all those she encountered.

Brenda's many passions outside her career reflected her vibrant spirit. She found immense joy in crafting, transforming simple materials into beautiful works of art. Gardening was another of her favorite pastimes, allowing her to nurture life and beauty in her surroundings. Her love for music was evident as she not only sang but also played the piano, bringing joy to those around her. Additionally, she was an enthusiastic cook, often preparing meals for her family, infused with love and care. Above all, Brenda's faith in the Lord shaped her life and provided her with strength and comfort.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Chuck Smith, and her beloved siblings: brother Terry Wayne Harris, and his spouse Shelly, as well as brother Shane Harris and his spouse Ava. Brenda was also the loving sister of Vicki Cleaver, who is married to Doyle. The family she built was enriched further by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom will deeply miss her warm presence and spirited laughter.

Brenda Smith will be remembered as a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many and whose legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
