Bobby Gean Steward

Bobby Gean Steward, 76, of Beebe, AR, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Bobby was born on June 16, 1949, in Pangburn, AR to Charles Leon and Mary Alice (Ivy) Steward. Bobby was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Bobby grew up in Searcy. He dedicated his life to a career of carpentry, heating and air, and retired from maintenance at Riverview School District where he worked hard.

Bobby is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret Steward, of 55 years, their children; Sonia Dry (Justin) of Garner, AR and Sharon (Scott) Jones of McRae, AR, 5 grandchildren; Tessa Jones (Russell), Gwen Jones (Chris), Jay Jones, Tyler Dry (Morgan), and Linsey Dry, 7 great-grandchildren; Alex, Dixie, Jace, Clara, Bo, Baylor, and Iris, who will all cherish the love, laughter, and fist-bumps he taught them, his siblings; Anita (Bob) Robertson and Don (Barbara) Steward, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mary Alice, brothers; Larry Steward, Tommy, Steward, and David Steward.

Throughout his life, Bobby had a passion for camping, boating, fishing, hunting, four-wheeler riding, and spending countless hours with family.

Rest in peace, Bobby. Your legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.
