Betty Yvonne (Wingard) Livingston

May 19, 1938 — Jun 17, 2026

Sheridan

Betty Yvonne (Wingard) Livingston, age 88 of Sheridan went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, in Hospice care with family by her side. She was born May 19, 1938, in Branch, Louisiana to the late Emmett Everette Hornsby and Della Mosely Hornsby. Betty was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist church in East End, Arkansas.

She loved attending Sunday Services and spending Tuesdays having lunch with the Ladies Widow group until her health began failing her and she could no longer make the trips. She was a Sunday newspaper reader and would spend most of the day turning pages of the newspaper and keeping up with the news around her. She loved talking on the phone, shopping, getting her nails polished and loved a good cup of coffee. She always looked her best no matter where she was going.

Her whole life revolved around family, and she can rest peacefully in Heaven knowing she is the reason her children know and have a relationship with Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Bruce Hornsby, also husband and father of her children Norman Carlton Wingard.

Betty leaves her memories to be cherished by her children, Barry Wingard (wife Marsha), Perry Wingard (wife Julie), Darla Young (husband Jerry), and Rebecca Butler (husband Charles). She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she thought of often and loved dearly.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2026, at Buie & Cole Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas, with Bro. Paul and Bro. Dennis officiating.
