Bertha H. Dulaff

Bertha H. Dulaff, age 55 of Rison, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 6, 1955 in Pine Bluff, a daughter of the late Adam Bradley Howard and Marie Turner Howard. Mrs. Dulaff was a bookkeeper for Pine Bluff Cable, a homemaker, and a Baptist. Mrs. Dulaff loved her children and grandchildren. She loved painting and craft work. Mrs. Dulaff was a faithful supporter of St. Judes Hospital. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie B. Howard, James Everett Howard; one sister, Revels Marie Denton; one grandchild, Morgan Paige Farrer.

Mrs. Dulaff is survived by her husband, Benjamin J. Dulaff Jr. of Rison, whom she married on January 17, 1981; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Barker and Karen of Starkville, Mississippi, Lee Freeman and Crystal of Rison; two daughters and son-in-law, Monica Travis of Rison, Jennifer Freeman Earnest and Larry of Fort Dodge, Iowa; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John A. Howard and Orpha of Pine Bluff, Paul E. Howard and Bertha Mae of White Hall, Adam Bradley Howard of Stuttgart; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mae Bell Earnest and Gene, Mary Weast, all of Star City, Barbara Pennington and James of Rison; eight grandchildren, Taylor Farrer, Emily Farrer, Hanna Travis, Larry Earnest, Tristan Earnest, C. J. Barker, Ben Barker, and Harley Freeman.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Buie Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
