Barbara Jane Avaritt

Barbara Jane Avaritt, age 78, of White Hall went to be with her Lord on April 5, 2026. She was born November 26, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Alfred Karl Wolfrum and Wilma Carol Wallace Wolfrum. She retired after many years in retail sales. She enjoyed reading, sewing and crafting.

She is survived by her son Timothy A. Jackson, her daughter Teresa Copeland and her husband Kurt, her grandchildren Ashton Copeland, Tamera Moore and her husband Kyle, Matthew Jackson and his wife Laura, and Todd Pruitt and his spouse, five great-grandchildren and her fur companion Betti.

Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Buie & Cole Funeral Home in Sheridan. Burial will be private.
