Audrie Lee Pendley Niccum

Audrie Lee Pendley Niccum, born on July 10, 1936, in Cameron, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, in Bryant, Arkansas. Audrie lived a life dedicated to service, both to her community and to her loved ones.

She spent most of her life working at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, where she worked diligently from 1971 until 2017. Throughout her tenure, Audrie not only provided comfort to grieving families but also built lasting relationships with the community she cherished deeply. Following her retirement, she continued to serve as the Grant County Veteran's Services Officer for many years, ensuring that veterans received the assistance they deserved.

Audrie’s warmth, compassion, and dedication extended beyond her professional life. She was a devoted family member and cherished the time spent with those she loved. Her personality shone through in her love for helping others, a trait that endeared her to many.

In her leisure time, Audrie found joy in playing Bingo at Crown Point Assisted Living in Sheridan, where she shared laughter and memories with her friends. These moments brought her immense happiness and highlighted her vibrant spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Letha Lenora Sharp Pendley, her late husband, Gene, with whom she shared many years of hard work and dedication at Buie Funeral Home, her siblings Bill (Teresa) Pendley and Emma (Finnis) Baldwin.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Gayla King and her husband Kerry and Donna McClanahan and her husband Scott, grandchildren, Erin Hetu and her husband Phil, Ryan McClanahan and his wife Heidi, Audra Mazur and her husband Dan, and Carter King, great-grandchildren, Cutler Hetu, Henley Hetu, Teagan McClanahan and Crew McClanahan.

Visitation for Audrie will be held on October 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Buie Funeral Home, located at 1301 S. Rock P.O. Box 276, Sheridan, AR 72150. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Crown Point Assisted Living Bingo Activities Fund, Gideons International or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Pallbearers will be the staff of Buie Funeral Home.
