Ashley Dawne Rissinger

 A beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, Ashley “Dawne” Rissinger, 53, of Jefferson, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on May 10, 2026. Dawne was born on August 4, 1973, in Newport News, Virginia.

Dawne was the heart of her family — a loving wife, a devoted mother, and someone whose greatest joy in life came from spending time with the people she loved most. Her love for her husband, Don, was evident to everyone who knew them. Through life’s ups and downs, she stood faithfully by his side with unwavering love, loyalty, and devotion. Together they built a life centered around family, laughter, and enduring love.

She cherished every moment with her family and created a home filled with warmth, support, and kindness. Dawne especially loved fishing and treasured the peaceful moments spent on the water. One of her greatest passions was watching her boys play baseball. If she was in the stands, you could bet they gave her boys a pitch. She was their biggest supporter through every game, every season, and every stage of life. Her love for her children and family was fierce, unconditional, and deeply felt by all who knew her.

Dawne is survived by her loving husband, Don Rissinger of Jefferson, Arkansas; her sons, Daniel Rissinger (Michelle & Madi) of Jefferson, Arkansas, and Dalton Rissinger (Amanda) of Collierville, Tennessee; her mother, Ginger Ritchie of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister, Jill Thacker (Trent, Jackson, and Caroline) of Rossville, Georgia; and her brother, Ryan Ritchie (Jessica, Finley, and Tate) of Cave Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mammaw, Ida Mae Gillis; her pappaw, Graham Gillis; her father, Corky Ritchie, lovingly known to the family as “Big”; and her nephew, Wyatt Ritchie.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Buie and Cole Funeral Home in Rison, Arkansas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dawne will be remembered for her strength, her loving heart, her devotion to her husband and family, and the warmth she brought into every room. She leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured forever
