Anna Sue Post

Anna Sue Jaggers Post was born May 13, 1935 to Mamie and Joe Jaggers of Rison, She died on July 2. 2026 at her home in Kingsland, Arkansas

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Sam "Nealy" Post, her parents and all her siblings: JW Jaggers, Buddy Jaggers, Mamie Jo Coats, Mattie Lou Hall, Betty Jean Hamilton, Billy Jaggers and John Jaggers and her son-in-law Gary Barnes of Fordyce.

She is survived by her son William "Bill" Post, his wife Pat, of Kingsland and his son Samuel (Marcie) Post of Albuquerque New Mexico. She is also survived by Cornelia Barnes of Fordyce and Cornelia's children Laura (Jason) Smith of Rudy Arkansas and Adam (Katie) Barnes of Warren; her great grand children: Dylan and McKenzie Post and Bethany Barnes, and her sister-in law, Gay Jaggers of Louisiana as well as a host of nieces and nephews

While her children were young, she was a homemaker. Later she worked at the famous Drakes Grocery in Kingsland, manned the In school Suspension Program at Kingsland School, was a substitute teacher and an aid to teachers and students at Fordyce Schools.

Her favorite bible verses were Proverbs 31 17-19, 25 and Philippians 4: 13 and they describe her perfectly.

Burial will be private.
