Alice Frances Pettit

Alice Frances Pettit, age 71, of Sheridan passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at her home. She was born April 10, 1945 in Little Rock, the daughter of the late James A. Jamison and Marion Frances Everhart Jamison. Mrs. Pettit was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church in Hensley. She was a fifth and sixth grade Sunday School teacher for many years. Mrs. Pettit is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Carroll Tipton; and sister, Teri Lynn Jamison.

Left to cherish her memory, husband, Ralph W. Pettit of Ico; son, Ricky Tipton and wife, Brandi of East End; daughters, Kelly Scott and husband, John and Cindy Harvey and husband, Bobby, both of Ico; favorite nephew, Jay; grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Austin, Tommy, Jessi, John, Alise, and Becca; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Adilyn, Sammi, Jenna, Morgan, and Acelyn; and her faithful sidekick, her dog, Rascal.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Forest Tower Baptist Church in Hensley with Brother Ricky Tipton and Brother Dub Hedrick officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel North Cemetery in Ico. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. Pallbearers are Andrew Wyles, Austin Wyles, Tommy Tipton, John Scott, Jay Jamison, and Chris Lee. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
